Experience:
Hearthworks has grown over the last 9 years ago to become one of the U.K's leading providers of Tipis and Yurts. We offer a friendly and professional hire service as well as making bespoke Tipis and Yurts to order.
Hearthworks Tipis and Yurts have been used the world over - from the Australian bush to the tropical beaches of Costa Rica, from high in the Himalayas to the deserts of Sinai. Our experience of these different environments has given us direct insights into how these structures function best.
Vision:
Over the years we have consistently improved our designs and expanded our range of products. Inspired by our own experience of living in Tipis and Yurts, we aim to make these structures as practical and durable as possible while maintaining their traditional and aesthetic qualities. Our essential aim is through helping others to experience these ancient shelters, we can share this simple, more natural way of living close to the earth.
Clients:
For the last 4 years we have managed the Tipi Field at Glastonbury Festival, which has given us a lot of experience with large-scale events. We have provided Tipis and Yurts for other events both big and small, such as the Big Green Gathering, Global Gathering, Bestival, Big Chill, Shambala, Sunrise Celebration, Electric Picnic, Tribe of Doris and Womad.
Other clients have included The Eden Project, Midge Ure, Birmingham City Council, The Natural History Museum, Roger Waters, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Gryff Rhys-Jones, EMI, Oxfordshire County Council, Greenpeace, University Of Bristol, Radiohead, British and Commonwealth Museum, University of the West of England, Warner Bros, The Prince’s Trust, S.O.A.S, Tearfund, Somerset Rural Youth Project, Alice Temperley, Supergrass, Merrell and the list goes on..
